missions, evangelism & church planting

Living Hope Ministry engages in evangelism and church planting, some in communities where the gospel has never penetrated before and there is no church. Some other time assist local churches in their existing evangelism and church-planting efforts.

Bible passage: “Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” – Matthew 28:19-20

Philosophy: The priorities, mission and vision of Living Hope emphasize evangelism and church planting by engaging people and culture with the gospel, starting and cultivating congregations, and fostering identity in the church. All of this is done in holistic witness to Jesus Christ in this broken world.

Process: Projects in which Living Hope workers engage have an evangelistic dimension. Some workers are directly involved in new church-planting efforts. In areas where a viable church does not exist, mission workers may lead the evangelistic and holistic church-planting, seeking to plant indigenous congregations and develop local leadership. In areas where the church exists, mission workers are assigned by Living Hope Ministry for various ministries that may include new church planting, normally done together with local colleagues. Living Hope funding supports church-planting efforts of Local churches.
