About living hope uganda ministries

Living Hope Uganda is a Para-church Organization registered in 2008 as Community Based Organization and governed by a Board of Directors who is policy makers of the Organization. All the other projects subscribe to the same Organization. Today Living Hope has established an orphanage school, vocational training center, Youth outreach club, churches, piggery project to poor families and soap & candle making project. All the projects mentioned are targeting to cause community transformation and development.

Living Hope was established with the vision of advancing the gospel and restoring hope among poor communities in Uganda. We have passion for the great commission of spreading the good news, and making disciples for Christ.

Having that burden of advancing the gospel of Jesus Christ and restore hope to the hopeless and poor communities in Uganda, because many rural communities are living in absolute poverty, Living Hope reaches the lost by intervening into their challenges and equipping them with life time skills regardless of their religious backgrounds. We believe that God will bring passionate people for the gospel among the poor communities.

Statement of faitih

What LHIM Believe in:

God (Gen. 1:1, Deut. 6:4, Matt. 28:19) is the living and true God, Creator of heaven and earth, who exists eternally in three Persons -Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Christ (Matt. 1:18-25, Is. 7:14, Luke 1:26-38, Rom. 1:4, Acts 1:3) is the eternal Son of God born of a virgin, became a man to give His life as a ransom for our sins. Jesus was completely God & man-led a sinless life, died on the cross, rose from the dead on the third day & ascended into heaven.

The Bible (2 Tim. 3:16-17, 2 Pet. 1:21, Matt. 5:18) is inspired, infallible and supreme word of God.

Salvation (Romans 3:25, Hebrews 9:22, 1 John 2:2) is by God’s grace provided to man at the cross of Calvary by Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit (John 16:7-11, 1 Cor. 12, Gal. 5:16-25) is the same in essence, majesty, and glory as the Father and the Son. It is the Holy Spirit who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment; that empowers the church to live a lifestyle pleasing to God; who endows believers with special gifts to accomplish distinct ministries. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is evidenced in spiritual gifts.

Satan (Matt. 4:1-11, Eph. 6:10-18, Col. 2:14-15, Rev. 12:9) truly exists and is our arch-enemy, the deceiver and destroyer of men. He was defeated at the cross.

Ordinances (Matt. 28:19, Acts 18:8, 1 Cor. 11:23-28) the local church observe the Holy Communion-reminding us the Savior’s suffering and death. In addition, baptism should be administered by immersion & upon confession of faith in Jesus as an outward testimony to one’s new life in Christ.

Perusia (Matt. 24-25, Rev. 19:11-20:6) According to His promise, Jesus Christ will return personally (physically and visibly) on the earth in power and great glory to judge mankind and to reign in righteousness.

The Universal Church Comprising of born again believers of all nations and denominations under the headship of Jesus Christ.
