Volunteering at living hope

 

 

Welcome to Volunteer at Living Hope Uganda!

 

LHU is a Charity non-denominational Community Based Organization Registered by the District Council (CBO; REG. NO: MAK/414/2008).

 

The mission of LHC is to reach out and and restore hope to the poor rural communities through education, counseling, Imparting skills, Evangelism & church planting, and Alleviating poverty among poor families in the Central Districts of Uganda. 

 

Living Hope has significantly grown within the last 4 years. We have a school for orphans and poor children where we feed two meals a day, provide them with all scholastic materials like uniforms, books, pens, shoes, and everything they need to study and employed 4 teachers plus a caretaker who helps in cooking food.

 

Planted 3 churches in the central Districts with well equipped ministers are helping to preach God's word in these tribal areas of Uganda.

 

We're training widows, youth and single mother with skills in Tailoring, crafts, soap and candle making, and cookery.
