FOUNDERS
Rev. Elijah & Winnie Musoke are happily married and an ordained minister of the gospel who have served thier community and church for the past 15 years in pastoral work and serving art-risk/needy children. They founded Living Hope Uganda in 2006 with a passion for reaching the lost in the poor communities of Uganda.
Throughout his life Elijah struggled and suffered. He was poisoned by a step wife to his aunt at the age of 2 years, survived to be sacrificed by a witchcraft practitioner at 7 years, his father denied him because of his dark-skinned color. As a teenager of 14yrs-about committing suicide, he gave his life to Jesus. He vowed to God if He would grow up and be in a position of helping others, he will help them. He is passionate to reach the lost with the gospelof Jesus Christ.
Elijah holds a Bachelors degree (majoring in History and Religion) from Makerere University, Diploma in Theology and Diploma in Ministry, both from Glad Tidings Bible College of Kampala, Uganda, East Africa.
Elijah worked in several primary and secondary schools as a teacher for 5 years before he left for his calling into full time ministry, he Pioneered the founding of New Hope Orphanage School -2002-2004. He is currently working as an associate pastor of a 700 seater church in Uganda. He does Bricks laying and piggery farming to support his family and ministry. His wife Winnie is an active member of Living Hope and gifted song writer, she heads the music department in the same church. Some of her videos are on Youtube-winnie kiwalabye and her albums are on sale in Uganda and other parts of the world. Winnie helps the women of Hope project with vocational skill training.
Elijah and Winnie hearts' desire is to see everyone affording a smile.
